1. In The Lady's Name This
song was originally written Mabon 2000 when I was asked to do a chant during
ritual. Most of the verses came out spontaneous, as usual. I wanted tolengthen
the song it include both aspects of the God and Goddess and keep the flavor
of the inclusivenessof the One, along with the Spirit of the Community. When
I approached White Hart with the idea of wandering winstrels moving through
a town, he created the flow with the horse (perhaps bearing a banner!) as well
as setting the stage with Birdsong and a river flowing. For as Bards we move
from place to place, never knowing were or with whom we will abide as we share
our stories and healing energies with people. Wh hold fast to the faith of where
the Lady and Lord take us as we travel to you and to others with our music.
2. Remember What do you
remember about past times, lives, and experiences? Allow the Bard to augment
your happenstances with his music. Remember most of what touches your heart
and what truly reaches you with love. Send forth your love to those around you
and remember to express your love, for all things are of the Lord and the Lady
and are to be cherished.
3. Myrddin's Daughter This
was written for me (Lady Emrys) by Pulsar when he was barded in 1994. Pulsar
has one of the sweetest spirits I have ever known a man to have. His gentleness
and dedication to the Lady is tremendous! When he plays this for an audience
it is slow and melodic and transforms the entire crowd with its magick. Trul
I am blessed to be the recipient of such a melody. Pulsar came into my life
when I truly nedded the blessing and love of such a One. During the barding,
Serphant (who co-created Triad Bardic College with me) held me closely to him
and wept, as did I, when Pulsar sang this song. It was a moment that I will
never forget and always will cherish.
4. Campbell's Farewell Arise
and dance! A good song to use during ritual or celebration! Thrill to the addition
of the drumbeat as only White Hart can provide.
5. Harvest Tide This was
written many years ago and also appears in the movie "Triad: The Bardic Path"
It is White Hart's favorite song. I present it to my family and friends and
to the greater community...and to you! We are not alone; we are all dancers
in the Great Rune. Together we weave a tapestry and a symphony that create a
wonderful web of Being. Let us truly live our faiths and accept each other's
Paths with respect and honor.
